SEATTLE — It seems Bellevue is among the best places in America for hipsters, according to a new data released by real estate firm RealtyTrac.
RealtyTrac looked at factors like population percentage of 25 to 34-year-olds, the amount of renters, the average rental price for a three-bedroom home and the rate of rental vacancies. RealtyTrac reports that so-called “hipster neighborhoods” can be attractive to investors looking for rental properties with solid returns and low vacancy rates.
RealtyTrac’s complete top ten list consists of:
1. St. Paul, Minn.
2. Pittsburgh, Penn.
3. Norfolk, Va.
4. Minneapolis, Minn.
5. Alexandria, Va.
6. East Rutherford, N.J.
7. Airlington, Va.
8. Iowa City, Iowa
9. Seattle (Belltown)
